The Project
Dolphin Discovery is a world leader in offering interactive programs that bring people closer to dolphins. We had to design and develop an iPhone and Android app that made its popular dolphin activities even more accessible to the public. We had to create an app that offered people information about the various dolphin shows conducted by Dolphin Discovery, their timings and also the various deals offered by the company. Another important client requirement was that the app also needed to provide a facility that enabled people to book shows that they were interested in watching.
The Challenges
The app needed to offer a lot of information to its users, hence the challenge was to fit in this information in the limited screen size; the application structure also needed to ensure seamless data exchange. Another challenge was the integration of payment gateway with email facility, which ensured that all information entered by the users, reaches the client through an email. Also, one of the key aspects that we needed to keep in mind was maintaining design and functional consistency for both iPhone and Android versions of the app.
